Setur participates in the elaboration of the plan to resume tourism in the Capixabas Mountains
The governance body works on qualifying the region, with post-pandemic promotion actions.
The Secretary of State for Tourism, Dorval Uliana, participated, this Friday morning (22), in the meeting with representatives of the Capixabas Mountains Convention & Visitors Bureau. The region, which is one of the most sought after by tourists in Espírito Santo, is developing a post-pandemic action plan, gathering health protocols and creating promotion actions.
The secretary emphasizes the importance and the commitment of the whole sector in facing the impacts suffered due to the new pandemic
Coronavirus (Covid-19), stating that the Department of Tourism (Setur) is in constant dialogue with the entire segment. “We are in continuous dialogue with the sector, institutions, city halls and instances, supporting and sharing the decisions determined by the State Government, seeking, jointly, to plan actions to resume the tourism economy”, he highlights.
According to Andreia Rosa, manager of the Mountains Capixabas Convention & Visitors Bureau, the businessmen and representatives of the public authorities of the eight municipalities that make up the region are working on the local organization, on the necessary sanitary adjustments and seeking the qualification of the tourist destination. “We are gathering norms and rules for everyone to adapt and, as a stimulus, we will create a seal that qualifies the enterprise, giving tourists the peace of mind that that place is prepared and qualified”, he emphasizes.
On Thursday (21), the Secretariat of Tourism held another virtual meeting with representatives of the tourist regions of Espírito Santo. The objective is to monitor the reality of each region, the main and most urgent demands and, jointly, align actions that are under construction for resumption by Setur.
“We keep our attention for all sectors of the segment, knowing the problems, assisting and promoting joint actions so that the destination Espírito Santo is ready and strengthened, to resume activities as soon as the health authorities consider it appropriate”, said Secretary Dorval Uliana .
