The sanctuary, erected in honor of Nossa Senhora Imaculada Esposa do Divino Espírito Santo, is a unique place of pilgrimage and faith, encounter with God and with himself. The place receives more than three thousand visitors per month, but the date of greatest movement is May 13. There are several marble monuments in the sanctuary, such as the image of Christ on a wooden board, the image of the Immaculate and a giant rosary in wood on the tree where the miracle of the apparition of the Virgin Mary would have taken place.
